Battle Cancer is the world’s leading mass-participation, functional fitness competition, raising money for cancer charities across the world. Founded in 2017 by Scott Britton he turned his personal experience of loss, grief and struggles into a drive to create unique events across the world which brings people together, creates memories and raises life changing amounts for cancer research. In recognition that everyone has been affected by cancer in some way, Battle Cancer brings people together to fight back, celebrate those who have fought and won and remember those who have lost.

🎗🎗⁣ ⁣⁣ Watch and listen. ⁣ That is all we need to do to grasp even the smallest amount of empathy and understanding from what our friend and Battle Cancer supporter Bernadette has to say about her experiences with her diagnosis and treatment. ⁣ ⁣ She’s just one of our amazing ambassadors who has fought and winning their battle.⁣ ⁣ With all of these people in mind, we're super proud to be launching Battle Cancer Move Forward. ⁣⁣ It’s our new global initiative that will create a network of educated health professionals to serve those during or post-cancer treatment.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ SUPPORT WHEN THEY NEED IT MOST⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ When people undergo or complete treatment for cancer they're often left to return to "life as usual," but for them, that no longer exists. ⁣⁣ We provide a support system and structure for them to take control of their own lives and adapt physically and mentally to take on the world around them. ⁣⁣ Sometimes, we are the only help they have to do so.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ SURVIVORS LEADING SURVIVORS⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 💪🏽Our program puts cancer survivors in local gyms and provides them with a 10-week CrossFit course. At the end, we pick one attendee and send him/her to a seminar to receive their CrossFit Level 1 certification. That coach then commits to teaching the next wave of survivors. Support from someone who's walked a mile in their shoes.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🎗We aim to raise £60,000 to provide free fitness programs for those affected by cancer and train fitness professionals in mental health support.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If you can contribute in ANY way, however small, it is NOT insignificant. ⁣⁣ Imagine if everyone put in just £1? ⁣⁣ We would change lives, and that is our plan.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Justgiving page in bio or go to – ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ #battlecancer⁣⁣ #moveforward⁣⁣ #mentalhealth⁣⁣ #survivors⁣⁣
