Belfast Restaurant AM:PM’s kitchen staff were disappointed when they heard the age limit was 25, but now considering entering Britain’s got talent instead. I suggested Masterchef but Head Chef Paul Dowds doesn’t want to start his solo career just yet.

The Louis Walsh auditions are taking place Sunday May 19, and Monday, May 20, in Temple Bar’s Button Factory.

Speaking to RTÉ TEN about his search, The X Factor judge said: “It’s open to everybody every nationality as long as they can sing and as long as they’re prepared to work hard and are enthusiastic.

“I’m not interested in lazy people or people who want to be instant popstars, that doesn’t happen.”

He is looking for 5 male, strong singers aged between 16 to 25 years of age and doors are open for registration from 11am, which auditions running from 12 noon to 6pm.
