Creative entrepreneur Aly Harte is bringing her unique ‘art and wine’ workshop to Belfast this month. The creativity for good events will also raise funds for children who attend Mitchell House Special School, with Aly donating a percentage of the ticket price to raise funds for a new custom built bicycle for the students to enjoy.

There are still some places left so you can take two hours out of your busy schedule and relax in front of a canvas, while being taught by the acclaimed artist over a glass of wine and canapes.

Being hosted at two Belfast locations – Café Smart on Belmont Road and Goodness Rocks on Saintfield Road – Aly’s workshops offer budding artists an opportunity to be creative while learning about colour theory and creating your own soft pastel work and painted canvas.

Aly Harte said: “I’ve been hosting workshops similar to these for years as I am keen to share my creativity, knowledge and expertise with people who already have an interest in art and with those who might be sitting in front of a canvas for the first time.

“I’m passionate about the importance of taking time out from the rigours of daily life to recharge and as well as a chance to learn and be creative, these workshops offer attendees two hours to escape and relax while getting to know other people or spending quality time with a friend over a glass of wine and some beautiful pastels in a completely chilled environment.

“It’s also important for me to be able to give back and that’s why I’m donating a percentage of the ticket sales to Mitchell House Special School.”

Places for Aly Harte’s Art and Wine Workshops at Goodness Rocks on 14 June and Café Smart on 28 June, are priced at £40 and advance booking is essential. To book a place, log ontowww.alyharte.com.
